'Racism? Keep it up, I'll show you with my skills'... Vinicius picks Champions League player of the week

Vinicius Junior scored a hat-trick and was named player of the week.

The UEFA selected Vinicius Junior as the best player in the third round on its official website on the 24th (Korea time).

Real Madrid came from behind to win 5-2 against Dortmund in the third round of the UEFA Champions League group stage at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain on the 23rd (Korea time).

Vinicius was flying in the match. Vinicius' first goal came in the 16th minute of the second half. Vinicius, who received Mbappe's pass from the center, lightly pushed it in to tie the score at 2-2, just a minute after Hodrigu scored the chasing goal.
Vinicius did not end there. In the 40th minute of the second half, with his team leading 3-2, he received the ball from the left side and made it 4-2 with a one-man show from the Real side to the Dortmund goal. 메이저사이트

Vinicius eventually achieved a hat-trick. Two minutes into the second half extra time, he dribbled again this time to show why he was the first to win the Ballon d'Or award. Vinicius eventually beat out the outstanding candidates for this hat-trick to be named Player of the Week.

Vinicius had a good year last season, leading Real Madrid to La Liga and a Champions League double. Few claim to be ineligible for the Ballon d'Or at next week's ceremony, and he is set to end a year facing many hardships and adversities, with the country frequently hearing racist chants, especially in Spain.

Ancelotti said, "It's rare to see a player like Vinicius who has not only scored in the second half but also tremendous energy, intensity, and personality. I think he will be awarded the Ballon d'Or for helping us win the Champions League last year, not today's three goals that will be included in next year's Ballon d'Or."
Although his relationship with Spain's La Liga has come close to breaking down due to racist abuse, Ancelotti thinks progress has been made on the issue. Ancelotti said, "I think Vinicius deserves to be respected. People boo him because he can make a difference. The issue of racism is being addressed. He might get booed, but he's respected in this country."
